BELLAGIO

Bellagio is a town in the province of Como in Lombardy. The municipality belongs to the mountain community of the Larian Triangle and its territory is one of the ideal summits of the Larian Triangle. Renowned holiday resort, it is famous for its picturesque location right on the ramification of Lake Comone its southern arms with the Alps visible beyond the lake to the north. On 21 January 2014 it merged with the municipality of Civenna: the new municipality retains the name of Bellagio. it is known as the pearl of Lake Como. It is located right on the promontory that divides the lake into two branches: on the left the Como branch and on the right the eastern branch of Lecco. Easily reachable by car from Lecco, passing Valmadrera Parè, Bellagio is a small village that has maintained the characteristics of the past: narrow streets, with many shops that color and the lakefront where the boat moors. Bellagio is also famous for Villa Melzi and its beautiful gardens, which in spring are filled with scents and colors and for Villa Serbelloni, now a luxury hotel, whose park is however open to the public for guided tours.
